Chris Wills : Founder and Chief Energizing Officer

Chris Wills

Founder and Chief Energizing Officer

Chris grew up in the small town of Sauk Centre, Minn., and as the oldest child, he and his parents learned many things the hard way when it came to the transition to life after high school. After reflecting on the questions and challenges he faced, Chris found he had a passion to help students not make the same mistakes he did and co-founded Student Paths in 1997 as a college student. The organization has impacted the lives of hundreds of thousands of students and has a goal to impact 3 million students per year.

Outside of Student Paths, Chris is passionate about tennis, running, cross country skiing, Duke basketball, the outdoors and international travel, having visited over 30 countries (and counting).

Chris graduated summa cum laude from the University of St. Thomas in Saint Paul, Minn., and lives with his wife, Vanessa, and two sons.

Gregg grew up in Grand Rapids, Minn. His favorite season is Winter, when he enjoys riding snowmobile through the forests of northern Minnesota and Canada. He does enjoy the summer when the whole family can be out on the boat enjoying the warmer months of the year. He is an avid fan of the Minnesota Wild and Twins ("they will get better!").

Gregg graduated from the University of St. Thomas with a degree in Entrepreneurship (yes, there is such a thing) and bought his first company, Student Experience in 1993. Student Experience helps college students gain experience in their major field of study through work experience. In 1997, he co-founded Student Paths, as a way to reach students at the high school level. The mission has stayed the same since day 1 . . . "to better prepare students for their future"
